Easter 2011 Rehearsals to Begin

Welcome back, everyone! We hope you've had a great holiday season. Rehearsals for our Easter concert will begin the second Thursday of January (the 13th) at 7:00 p.m. This is to accommodate our mid-year social on Thursday, January 6. If you know someone who would be interested in joining Choralais, invite them to the social and bring them to the first rehearsal. See you then!

We've had an amazing turnout for this Christmas season! We welcome many new faces, as well as faces we haven't seen in awhile.

We're excited to announce an opening social, even if it is a little late. Trudy Peck will be hosting it at her home on Sat., Oct. 2nd at 6:00 p.m. (while the men are off at priesthood meeting). More details will be coming soon.

Christmas 2010

Choralais, a women’s choir based in Payson, is actively seeking new members. If you love to sing, we’d love to have you—no audition required! Rehearsals are held Thursday evenings, beginning Sept. 9th, from 7:00-8:15 p.m. in the Payson Mountain View Stake Center chapel (directly east of Peteetneet). Choralais performs at Christmas and Easter. New for this fall season, we have lowered the dues to $15/year or $10/concert. We will also be performing at one or more rest homes.

Christmas 2009 Concert

A big hello to all of our wonderful members! We hope you've had a great summer and we look forward to seeing you in September.

Our theme for this Christmas concert is "What Child Is This?" Rehearsals begin Thursday, Sept. 10 at 7:00 p.m. As always, we encourage you to think about people you know and invite those who would be interested to join us. We are especially in need of strong sopranos.

Choralais is now on the Web!

Hello to all Choralais members and our innumerable fans! (Okay, so this is really limited to our families, who lovingly and faithfully attend our concerts, but we hope to encourage others from the community to come to our concerts.)

This blog will probably function more like a Web site for now, with information about Choralais, our concerts, etc. Mostly it will serve to help educate the community about Choralais.
